Back to blogging

So, I haven't blogged in a while. Our battery in our camera bit the dust and we had to order a new one online. Plus, things at work have been super crazy and hectic and Wynn's dad has been staying with us for 2 weeks, so needless to say, blogging has not been top on the list of priorities.

Anyway...for the time being,I just have some pictures of Evan from the weekend.

This picture pretty much illustrates the only time Evan ever takes a nap anymore!
Here is Evan taking a leisurely bath late Sunday afternoon.

He's in our bathtub, which is like the size of a pool to him. So he loves it!

Hey look mom! I decided to put my undies in the tub and then put them on while they are soaking wet. Gotta love three year olds!!

Evan the Hair Stylist

So, tonight Evan went in the bathroom to go potty and we were in the other room. He was in there for a while and was being VERY quiet (which is not like him at all). I decided I better go in there to see what he was up to. He decided to put gel in his hair so he could "make it spikey". Here is his masterpiece.

Getting the gel.
Putting it in his hair.

Spreading all through his hair.

He actually got a few spikes!

Look at that face!! That's my little trouble maker. Always keeping life interesting.

Good Fortune

A Super Sunday!

Today was a pretty full day. Evan was very excited to go to church, and we were very excited that now church starts at 1:00! Today was Evan's first day in Primary. He is a Sunbeam. He loves church!
Afterwards, we went to Johnny (Wynn's nephew) and Jana's house for dinner. The kids had fun playing and the adults enojoyed great food. Jana makes the bomb dinner rolls and cinammon rolls. Mmmmm....I wish I had one right now!

My handsome little boy all dressed up and ready for church.
My two handsome guys looking sharp!

Wynn & Johnny

Me, Jana and Maddie. What happened to Gideon (their little boy)? I thought I included a picture of him, but I guess it didn't download.
We had a great day. I am considering it the last official day of the holiday season. Work and life goes back to normal. Kinda sad, but I guess it had to come sometime!

Fun with Uncles!

Evan and I ran around town today running some errands and we decided to go by Ross & Danielle's to visit them and baby Kadan. Craig stopped by while we were there. Evan always has a blast playing with his uncles.

Ross, Kadan, Craig & Evan. Notice the craziness coming from the side with Craig and Evan? That's usually how it is when the two of them are together!
This is Craig helping me get Evan's shoes on so we could leave. He literally had to pin him to the floor. Gotta love 3 year olds!

New Year's Eve 2008

For New Year's Eve my mom and Craig came over as well as my other brother Ross, his girlfriend Danielle, and their baby (my adorable nephew) Kadan. We ate dinner and hung out. It as fun!

This is Kadan. He is so adorable I just want to eat him up!

Kadan just chillin' like a villan.

Evan hangin' with Kadan. I can't believe how big he looks in this picture! What happened to my baby??

Evan partying it up with his champagne a.k.a sparkling apple cider.

My cute little man.

We had lots of fun. Evan went to bed around 9:00 and everyone else left around 10:00. Wynn and I fell asleep on the couch waiting for midnight to come. Then we went to bed around 11:45 and watched all the fireworks in bed. I would rather watch all the partying from the cozy, comfiness of my own bed than be in the midst of all the drunk people and traffic!

Happy New Year everyone! Let's hope 2009 is a great one!

Christmas

This year Christmas was very relaxing and laid back. My mom and my brother Craig spent the night on Christmas Eve so they could be here for Evan to open his presents from Santa Clause. It was really fun! Evan was so excited to wake up and see all the presents Santa had left for him. I didn't think we had gotten him as many presents as we did, but he was just opening presents forever!

We made a gingerbread a couple weeks before Christmas. We let Evan do all of the decorating by himself. This is the final product.

Me an my little man decorating the gingerbread house.

Evan wanting to dive into to all that candy!!

This was Christmas morning. I think this Spiderman scooter is his favorite gift! It's so cute. He loves to ride it all around the house and pretend he is going to the grocery store for me to get milk, pizza, etc.

Look at that loot from Santa!

All in all it was a really fun Christmas!

Ok...I'm going to attempt this blogging thing!

So I attempted to start a blog right after Evan was born, but nothing really came of it. I am the worst at remembering to take pictures! I'm making an effort to get better at it and to blog. So...wish me luck!
